About Sunny -
Seeing possibilities in EVERYTHING is what inspires me--and can be quite overwhelming! My artwork is an evolutionary process inspired by color, patterns & texture, juxtaposition, emotion, and lots of imagination. I'll come across unusual papers and odd items and stash them away for years--knowing that at some time they will resurrect themselves into one of my creations. I especially find the use of vintage, handmade andexotic papers an exciting medium in which to create my collages. I may stare at a blank substrate for days--then suddenly inspiration comes, and the "evolution" begins! Being ADHD/OCD, the focus and concentration of cutting and tearing papers to create intricate images is my perfect therapy!
