About Kelly -
Kelly’s passion for creating art is ignited through her exploration of materials, experimentation, taking risks, making mistakes (yes, mistakes can be turned into something beautiful), and having fun.
In 2015 Kelly received her Masters of Art in sculpture. During that time she developed her artistic voice through “assemblage” style art with a narrative of family loss, change, and growth. She has received many awards and recognition for her art. Some of this previous work can be viewed on her website www.kellyreiter-hoffman.com.
Upon completing her education she taught art classes at elementary schools in Southern California through a program called Meet The Masters. During those years she was able to
share with children her enthusiasm for art through lessons in art history and art techniques.
Currently Kelly is developing a body of work focused on three dimensional art forms which are layered with colorful patterns of polymer clay. Though she’s been creating with polymer clay for
over twenty five years she feels that she’s hardly scratched the surface of what can be done with it. The possibilities of this amazing medium are endless and only limited by the imagination!
