About Jim -
Jim Liston started his woodworking journey many years ago.He initially worked in construction before joining the Los Angeles Unified School District in Maintenance and Operations. Utilizing his technical computer skills, he developed a database that allowed the District to manage maintenance projects for over 14,400 buildings, which led to his promotion to the District level administration. After retiring from LAUSD, he merged his expertise in multi-leveled databases with his passion for woodworking. Jim now crafts arange of projects using beautiful exotic woods, including cutting boards, wine stoppers, and various sizes and shapes of lovely bowls.
