About JoAnn -
I’ve always had an interest in creating Art. I began Oil painting in my thirties and dabbled in many arts and crafts over the years. I started watercolor lessons as a way to get back to painting and creating again after many years of trying other creative activities. Acrylic became an interest after that and now I do both, however mainly do watercolor’s.
Some of the Artists that have inspired me are Georgia O’Keeffe, JD Challengerand Norman Rockwell. The American Southwest and the American Indianheritage has always inspired me.
I love the challenge of telling a story with my art, in a way that it is pleasing to others.
