About Katelyn -
I grew up in beautiful Colorado for the majority of my life and moved to Lake Havasu in 2020. I am the eldest of 4 children and got the best of my skills from my parents, both of them being artistic in their own ways. Always finding myself with a pencil in hand, I would doodle on anything and everything I could find, especially during school hours. In 2017 I fell ill and was bedridden for a total of 4 years, and it was around then that I picked up my pencil to create beautiful sceneries, trying to bring the nature I loved to life in my bedroom.
Being around nature all my life played a major part in developing my art style. I have tried many different art forms, always falling back on my trusty pencils and drawing my favorite parts of nature. Animals and trees are my favorite, and only recently have I found that I love drawing"weird"/unrealistic animals. I am young and still have much to learn when it comes to art, my style always shifting to better fit me, and cannot wait to find out more along the way.
