About Jill -
Jill retired and moved to Lake Havasu in 2015. Coming from a family of artists, retirement gave her the time to get back into drawing and to experiment with different mediums. She began by doing acrylic painting on rocks collected from the shores of the Colorado River and Lake Havasu, giving her the great excuse to go out on the water to rock hunt.
She joined the Havasu Art Center Co-op, which has motivated her to keep trying different things. In addition to rock painting, she now enjoys pastels, graphite, colored pencil and watercolor with birds and animals being her favorite subject matter.
