About Bill -
I was born in 1946 and raised in San Pedro, California. I started woodturning just before high school. I built my first lathe out of an old washing machine motor and mounted it on a workbench in Dad's garage. After high school, I earned an AA degree in woodworking and cabinetmaking.
I worked as a cabinetmaker for many years and was the wood foreman for a yacht building company in Long Beach, California. In 2004 I retired for 2 years to travel and closed my shop after 22 years. I also taught a few classes at "Rocklers Woodworking" in 2016.
I moved to Lake Havasu City in 2019 and set up my shop again. I still create custom wood projects and do woodturning just for pleasure.
