Silversmithing, Glass fusing, Acrylic Pours, Acrylic and Resin Art
About Christi -
Christi’s art career began in 2001 in Lincoln, NE. when she started beading jewelry for herself and others. In 2004 she decided to learn silversmithing and took several classes. These classes became socialhours and everyone learned skills from each other. Soon she wanted to create her own “cabochons” to incorporate into her silversmithing designs. Hence a glass fusing class. Not only did she make cabochons, soon she was making votives, plates, wind chimes, wall art, etc. It has been a passion of hers to have the freedom to create anything she desires. She loves making wearable and livable art and the problem-solving aspect of turning an idea into reality. Retiring and moving to Arizona Christi discovered acrylic painting soshe quickly learned how to make beautiful canvases. Acrylic painting and resin Charcuterie boards followed. Resin is an art itself and she enjoys the results with this medium. She is always ready to explore new ideas, mediums, and making creations for others to enjoy.
