About Pam -
If I could choose a middle name, it would be a color. And if I could have two (and why not?), it would be poetry. These to things I carry resolutely in my creative pockets.
Knowing from the age of 6 that I would be an artist, because it wasn't something I did, but who I am. Graduating with a degree in art and teaching, I came back to teaching just recently.
I have been selling professionally and making a living from my art for 32 years, via greeting cards and art shows, in a variety of styles from realism to whimsical. Currently a new style of puzzle like bright abstract colored shapes called, "The Storytellers".
In my studio that faces the London Bridge, I teach classes that serve over 80 students weekly from kids to adults. I teach many concepts and styles of art, believing that it is a skill just like learning yoga or golf. Anyone can LEARN to be artistic.
I have challenged myself to be able to paint anything, but it is color that I concentrate on. The arrangement and play of them is sort of a happy dance.
I love what I do and sharing what can be created by myself and others. Art is Life and Life is Art. Put them together and it becomes a playground of possibilities just waiting to be celebrated.
