About Julia -
I’m Julia Robles, a mixed media artist based in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. I’m a self-taught focusing on acrylic abstract artwork, including fluid art and mixed media.
I rarely use a paint brush, I build up my layers with unconventional items. From found objects, to pallet knives, scrapers and my fingers. I’m always on the lookout for anything to create different textures and patterns.
My art is inspired by movement and free forms found in nature. My work is a celebration of color, fluidity, gravity, texture and the relationship between the different mediums.
My goal as an artist is to create a sense of wonder, allowing the viewer to see things in different ways.
