2025 Havasu Art Trail Application

We are now accepting applications from artists who have not yet participated in the Havasu Art Trail!
The 2025 Trail will be Saturday February 22, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, and Sunday February 23, from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm
The Havasu Art Trail is an artist show and studio tour focusing on the opportunity for the public to meet and get to know the local artists, gaining an understanding and appreciation of their work.

The application is online again this year. It is very helpful to have the information provided to us in this manner. It should take 5 minutes or less to complete the application.
As a new artist, you will need to complete the online application with the link above, and submit five photos of your art for our approval.

To complete the application process, after you have been accepted, you will need to print the Artist Terms page, sign it, and return it with your payment. The Terms page will be sent with your acceptance email.
Fees for the 2025 Trail are $75 per individual artist or $100 for two artists who collaborate as a single entity.
You will also need to submit information for your 2025 artist profile web page. This information includes a photo of yourself, a bio or artistic philosophy, and a total of up to 10 photos of your art. The artist web pages for the 2025 Trail go live October 1. The sooner you submit your photos, the longer you will be on the website. We require new photos each year, as your web page will not be a duplicate from a previous year. We provide links to the previous profile pages on the new pages.
Applications, signed terms, and payment for the 2025 Havasu Art Trail are due December 31, 2024. No exceptions.
Important Information about the 2025 Havasu Art Trail
Our Trail is artist-focused and artist-based. Each artist will have their individual profile page on our website, so the public knows who and what type of art to expect from each person. Only original art by Lake Havasu City based artists is permitted on the Trail. Each location is expected to have displays, demonstrations, and/or examples of the processes utilized to create their art. Artists may also sell their art during the Trail, but are each responsible for the legalities of the sales such as sales tax.
Our concern as we plan the next event is the number of locations on the Trail. It is important that we keep that number below 30 for two reasons. First, the public needs to be able to safely get to all the locations in the two-day time frame. Second, we only have 30 flags to identify the Trail locations, as we consider that to be our maximum allowable. The number of artists participating is flexible, but the number of locations is not. With your cooperation, we will attempt to find locations for all artists wishing to participate in HAT 2025.
For the first time, and for the future, we reserve the right to restrict Havasu Art Trail locations. In an effort to maintain our artistic and professional standards, we also reserve the right to reject an artist for any reason. As the Trail’s popularity expands, we need to assure the public they will meet exceptional artists in a safe and welcoming environment at each stop.
Ideally, each Trail location will have a minimum of two artists of different artistic genres. A variety of artistic mediums per location provides a better chance of drawing a larger audience with multiple artists. At the Gibbs’ location, the one with the largest attendance, there were six artists with very little overlap of mediums represented.
The artists who participated in the 2024 Trail were given first chance to sign up for the 2025 Trail. First consideration of locations will be given to returning artists who signed up promptly. This invitation to participate is now being extended to additional artists in Lake Havasu.
We will consider all applications in the order received as we determine the final location list. If you have room for any additional artists at your location, please let us know.
