About Alex -
Alex is a 27-year-old Artist and Performer.He has been drawing and putting colors and markings on things since before he could remember. Alex started off his early artistic years sketching anime characters with crazy bed head and playing on paint on the family computer.Since then, Alex continued to doodle, sketch, draw, and create all the way up until he left for performing arts college in 2013 in Los Angeles, CA. Alex spent 2 years honing his craft for the performing arts and has since performed in countless productions both professional and community alike.
Ever since his father’s passing, Alex decided to dive headfirst again into the world of art. It wasn’t until he enrolled in an art class and adopted a mentor thatAlex noticed his art really started to flourish.
Alex enjoys painting fantasy landscapes and things that you would see in video games or your dreams. He likes to take a normal image and ask, “what if?'‘ His early influences in his art include the likes of Bob Ross, Leonid Afremov, Vincent Van Gogh, and Robert Lyn Nelson, just to name a few. Twinkling lights, bright colors, a fantasy approach to somewhat bizarre pieces are all elements Alex likes to incorporate in his work.
Alex has had the honor of being the Featured Artist in his hometown of Lake Havasu for the local First Friday event as well as completed a mural on Havasu Hardware on Mainstreet. One of his favorite experiences selling his art was getting to talk to all the people who stopped and admired his works. He says that making friends and meeting people is one of the best parts of selling hisart. He is excited to meet more people and sell more art to the public.
Alex hopes to one day travel the United Statesand attend local art shows all over in hopes to spread his art all over theworld. “I would love to be able to explore the country, meet new people, seenew sights and experience new things and get the opportunity to sell my art allaround the world"
