About Linda - 

Linda and her husband settled full time in Lake Havasu in 1999.  Taking class at a local store, she met a couple of friends who then challenged each other to enroll in a beginning quilting class at Mohave Community College.

Linda was elected President of the Havasu Stitchers Quilt Guild from 2005-2007.  In 2005, she won 1st Place in the Wearable Art Division of the Havasu Stitchers Bridge of Friendship Quilt Show for her jacket titled "Arizona Splendor".  One of her most satisfying projects was helping to develop and implement Quilting at the Lake, a week long quilting event each January that ran for 12 years. 

Linda always has her drawers and shelves full of ongoing projects.  She will finish a project then start a new, more challenging one.  Her favorites are bargello inspired, and she now has included portraits of 3 of her dogs in quilts.
